      The construction is simple and robust. It is comprised of a series of steel plates engaging a hub and a series of friction rings engaging a housing. Pressure is put on the plates and friction rings by an adjuster acting through a spring and pressure plate.

     Use as torque limiters, tensioning devices and overrun devices.

     Torque ranges 130 Ncm (11.7 inch-lbs) to 846 Ncm (74 inch-lbs)
